Plot: Miles buys himself a state-of-the-art computer that starts expressing thoughts and emotions after a having champagne spilled on him. Things start getting out of hand when both Miles and Edgar, the computer, fall in love with Madeline, an attractive neighbour.

While browsing Tubi I saw this one listed and instantly the ending theme song came to mind even after all these years. It's a fun movie, especially for the tech geek oriented. If nothing else, it's great nostalgia viewing of "hi-tech" back in the 80's.

And it includes a Star Trek reference. đź–– :D

 
I used to love this movie!

There was an eerie one called "Hide and Seek" that was based on a book from the 70's. It was made before Electric Dreams about a program that was trying to hide itself. I recommend checking it out, it's on YouTube for free!
